Arnaldo initiated his professional journey in San Juan, Puerto Rico, serving as a Collections Specialist for REIT Developers Diversified Realty, now known as Site Centers. His role involved managing arrears and tenant relations on a portfolio of over 4.9 million square feet across 16 shopping centers. He honed his leasing skills by supporting DDR's leasing executives in renewal processes, while concurrently managing rent collections and repayment structures. This innovative approach led him to integrate leasing and collections within his private practice.
In 2008, Arnaldo established Space Mart Retail and Real Estate Solutions, which evolved into NAI Puerto Rico in 2017. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, he focused on a niche market, offering bespoke solutions for both landlords and tenants. His services encompassed property accounting, rent collections, year-end reconciliations, property management, and representation for both tenants and landlords. Additionally, Arnaldo provided consultancy for new shopping center developments entering the Puerto Rican market, aiding in site distribution and tenant mix analysis.
Upon obtaining his Real Estate Brokerage license in the State of Florida in 2015, Arnaldo played a pivotal role in the expansion of various Puerto Rican concepts into Central Florida and vice versa. He also actively facilitated the entry of business concepts from the United States and Europe into his areas of expertise. This cross-market synergy evolved in 2020, when Arnaldo merged his commercial real estate operations from Florida and Puerto Rico into a unified, full-service entity named 180 Commercial Real Estate Solutions.
